Declan Farrow

Declan Farrow has been following Chelsea through thick and thin since the mid-1990s, back when Stamford Bridge felt like a very different place. Growing up in west London, the club was never just a team to him but a fixture of his weekly rhythm, and that long-term perspective shapes everything he writes. He is convinced most people still underrate Claude Makelele and is happy to make that case at length to anyone willing to listen.
